Common Questions About Pricing

What counts as an API event?
An API event is any single request processed by the Boutique Atelier platform — an inbound webhook received, an enrichment call made, a billing sync fired, or an auth token validated. Requests that return a 4xx client error due to malformed input are not counted against your monthly quota.
Can I switch plans mid-month?
You can upgrade at any time and the difference is prorated to the day. Downgrades take effect at the start of the next billing cycle. There is no lock-in period on any plan — cancel before the next cycle and you will not be charged again.
Is VAT included in these prices?
All listed prices are net of VAT. Irish VAT at the standard rate (currently 23%) is added at checkout for consumers and Irish businesses. EU business customers with a valid VAT number can supply it at checkout and benefit from the reverse-charge mechanism. Our VAT number is IE9876543B.
Do you offer annual billing?
Yes. Paying annually saves you the equivalent of two months compared to the monthly rate. Annual plans are available on Growth and Scale. Contact us to arrange an annual invoice — we can also issue a single PO-based invoice for procurement teams that require it.
What happens if I exceed my event quota?
We will send you an email alert at 80% and again at 95% of your monthly quota. If you exceed the limit, additional events are billed at €0.80 per 10,000 on Starter, €0.50 per 10,000 on Growth, and €0.30 per 10,000 on Scale. We never cut off your API silently — you will always have at least 48 hours notice before any service interruption.
